We are the Falls Pointe Piranhas Swim Team

The Falls Pointe Swim Team provides a supportive environment for swimmer development. Practices are designed to improve your child’s swimming skills and prepare them for competition while promoting a positive team environment. Our fun and friendly recreational swim team is open to children between the ages of 5-18. 18 year olds who have graduated in the current year are eligible to swim in the league.

New swimmers ages 12 and under must pass a swim test. Your child does not need to be a strong swimmer to join, but must be able to swim across the pool unassisted without stopping (no holding on to lane lines, etc.). Our coaches will work with your child to develop, refine, and strengthen their skills.

Registration preference is given to residents of Falls Pointe and their relatives, then is open to residents of the Olmsted Falls City Schools district. Our team has a maximum number of participants and age groups do fill up. A waitlist will be created for each age group as needed.

Our season runs from the beginning of June through mid-to-late July. Practices are held Monday through Friday mornings. Each season has approximately 6 meets. 4 meets will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and 2 large league meets are scheduled on Saturday mornings.

Team building activities include the donut Fridays, a pancake breakfast, secret swimmer week, and an awards picnic/pool party for families at the end of the season.

Summer 2024 Registration

Registration will open for all swimmers starting on April 6th and will end April 13th.

Falls Pointe Residents & Relatives along with returning swim families will receive spots first. The team will add swimmers until each age group is full and create a waitlist.

You will be notified if your swimmer has a spot on the team or waitlist. We hope to confirm our roster by the end of April.

You must complete the registration payment by the deadline to confirm your spot on the team or your spot will be given to a swimmer on the waitlist.
